Call of submissions: Digital Health 2017 Innovation Awards


Digital Health 2017 in collaboration with Digital Catapult introduces the Innovation Award 2017 to celebrate the most successful businesses in digital health. Submissions will be judged and awarded by high profile panel of judges and chaired by Dr Lucie Burgess, Head of Health, Digital Catapult.

Entries are open to SMEs, business, charity or health delivery organisations: so long as they present an innovation in digital health, we welcome entries from a diverse array of organisations.

Innovators are welcomed to submit their product in the following three categories:

  • Best Scale-up Success
  • Best Partnership
  • Best Data-Driven Innovation

Innovators are welcomed to submit their 500 words product entry in the one of the following three categories:

Best scale-up success: Please explain how your innovation has scaled, grown and expanded its reach.

Best partnership: Please explain how your innovation involved successful partnership and collaboration for mutual benefit.

Best data-driven innovation: Please explain how your innovation used data in a way which is innovative and unique.

All three categories also need to explain:

  1. The product or service proposition and what is unique or innovative about it.
  2. How the innovation delivers valuable outcomes and impact for people/ patients.

Submission Process
Website for the Innovation Award 2017:
Submission can be made online through EasyChair (login or create an account > New submission > “Digital Health Innovation Award” track).
All submissions must be made online. Submissions sent by email are not accepted.

Submission is free, however, registration to the conference is required to attend both the shortlist event (11am 4th July 2017) and the Award ceremony at the Gala Dinner on 4th July 2017.

Deadline: 21st June

Shortlisting Deadline:  25th June 2017
Presentations Deadline: 28th June 2017
Pitches from shortlisted companies to the panel of judges at the Innovation Prize session on 4th July 2017 11am (no more than 5 minutes each).
Prizes awarded: Gala Dinner on the evening of 4th July 2017

Prize will include a certificate and kudos, announcement on the DH 2017 and Digital Catapult websites and via social media. A mentoring session for the winners will also be provided by Digital Catapult.
