Polish SME active in the food industry specialises in the wholesale of premium confectionaries. They distribute brands such as Jelly Belly, Reese's, Hershey's, Oreo, Pocky, Mondelēz and Ferrero. The products are imported from North America and Asia, so the company has some experience in the international cooperation. The firm also deals in other fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). Market research has shown that demand in Europe for premium sweets and candies is considerable - only in the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) sales are currently valued at over 300 mln euros. The firm sees a room for further growth due to consumption trends (growing interest in high-quality food products) and because offered brands are not yet available in every European country. In order to tap into this potential and enter new markets, the firm is offering cooperation in a form of distribution services or commercial agency agreement to chain stores, wholesalers and other traders of food products. Both distributors and agents will be presented with a detailed product assortment. Role of the former will be to order products and specify required quantity; the latter is expected to find new customers for the offered confectionaries.
