Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
The potential engineer should have experience and knowledge in the machine building on the set parameters and from know-how. Material used in the enterprise’s compressor and turbine rotor blades must meet the following requirements: • Operating temperature: 600-800 °C, • Density: 3.7…5.0 g/cm3, • E-modulus ≥ 150 GPa, • Yield stress σy ≥ 650…700 MPa, • Tensile strength σt ≥ 850 MPa, • Fracture toughness KYC= 15…20 MPa•m1/2, • Specific elongation δ=0.2…0.5%.

Over the years, the company has manufactured engines for a wide variety of aircraft and helicopter models in the Soviet Union and in the post-Soviet countries. They are currently looking for new practical materials for engines. In particular components made by additive manufacturing using advanced, low-density Ɣ-TiAl materials. Design and normative documents for parts, tolerances, and test conditions will be agreed as part of a cooperation agreement. The client partnership will be held under the technical cooperation agreement.
